Net-Zero Carbon Life Sciences & Tech Facility Coming to Colorado

Conscience Bay Company, a Boulder-based real estate investment, management, and development group, announced plans for a new office project.

The Ridgeway Science & Tech is set to be Boulder’s first net-zero carbon life sciences building and technology campus.

The 112,423-square-foot campus will be all-electric, and equipped with state-of-the-art Bio Safety Level 1, 2, and 3 lab spaces.

The campus will be built in accordance with Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) standards such as LEED Platinum, Zero Energy Certifications, WELL Gold, and Wired Score Gold. The structure will also have an insulated and airtight envelope design, on-site geothermal exchange, and on-site and off-site solar panels.

In addition to the sustainable elements, the campus will also provide easy access to public transport and the airport and will include a conference room, game room and lounge, an on-site café, an outdoor gym, an on-site jogging path, nearby bike trials, low-irrigation restorative landscaping, pollinator and food gardens, an indoor bike room with electric bike charging stations, mountain views, a wellness room, a meditation room, 2,500 square feet of outdoor terraces and collaborative spaces, and electric charging stations.

The Ridgeway Science & Tech is set to break ground in 2024 and is estimated to be completed in 2026.
