Columbia Announces New Projects for its Science + Technology Group

Earlier this month, Columbia, a Massachusetts-based construction management leader, announced the awards for three new projects for its recently restructured Science + Technology Group sector.

Offering awarded services to its new clients: 24M Technologies, Nyobolt, and Corning, the Science + Technology Group focuses on constructing and renovating: pharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing, biotechnology, semiconductors, robotics, chemical, battery, tech, medical devices, and healthcare spaces.

The Science + Technology Group focuses on flexibility and innovation, with special regard to codes and regulations, safety, validation, infectious disease control, technology, and HVAC requirements.

In the press release, Bill Olson, vice president, said the new sector is part of an evolution to “bring science to life.”

“Columbia’s technical facility design excellence and flexible and innovative problem-solving have long supported extraordinary results,” said Olson. “As we expand our reach within this impactful arena, we look forward to accomplishing even more complex and inventive projects.”
