Vacuum Pumps
Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum's DRYVAC DV 450 combines dry screw technology with a compact design for silent operation, low ambient temperature, and minimal consumption of cooling water. A smaller version of the DRYVAC DV 650, the DV 450 features an optimized drive for suction speeds of 450 m³/hr and an optimized engine efficiency with 5.3 kW power consumption at final pressure.

Corrosion-Resistant Vacuum Pumps
The KNF LABOPORT corrosion-resistant vacuum pumps from KNF Neuberger are compact diaphragm pumps that feature PTFE-wetted parts, condensate-resistant multi-port FFPM valves, and PTFE-bonded diaphragms. The pumps use no pump oil, operate without maintenance or water requirements, and perform quietly, even when continuously running corrosive solvent vapors.

Dry Vacuum Pumps
The nXDS dry scroll vacuum pumps from Edwards are designed for scientific, laboratory, and research and development applications. The oil-free pumps use no lubricants in the vacuum. An advanced scroll design and tip-seal technology provide the pumps with a long lifetime; tip seals may last up to 5 years and can be replaced in less than 10 min in the field using basic tools.

According
to JEOL Resonance, a new benchmark for resolution and benchmark will be
set with its introduction next week of a new 0.75-mm solid state
nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) probe. The probe is capable of high
resolution sample analysis by spinning the sample at 110 kHz, the
world's fastest spinning speed for NMR.

Nextreme Thermal
Solutions has developed two new energy harvesting subsystems for the
plumbing
and HVAC industries. The subsystems are the latest additions to
Nextreme's
Thermobility energy harvesting platform that uses thin-film
thermoelectric
technology to convert available thermal energy into electric power for a
variety of autonomous self-powered applications.

Burkert Life Science has introduced microfluidic valves with Twin Power technology. The valves are available in 10 mm, 16 mm, and 22 mm sizes. Twin Power technology combines the rocker principle with a new actuator. This dual-solenoid design allows the use of a smaller valve with lower power consumption.
