  • Description: Project at the National University Campus, adjacent to a major hospital, is run by A*STAR, the government agency that also operates the 2 million-ft2 Biopolis research campus. Biopolis scientists who have shared clinical responsibilities at the hospital or who have projects that require direct clinical information and access are located at the Brenner Center. The program included renovation of an existing six-story facility, plus a six-story addition extending the floorplate at each level. A separate entry was created for the Singapore Institute of Clinical Sciences.

  • Description: New NIH/NIAID-funded regional biocontainment lab with BSL-2 and -3 facilities will house programs already underway in infectious disease research at Colorado State, including focuses on West Nile virus, drug-resistant tuberculosis, yellow fever, dengue, hantavirus, plague, tularemia, and chronic wasting disease. The lab also houses the Regional Center of Excellence for Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases, a multidisciplinary collaboration focused on zoonotic emerging diseases.
